We met Barb and Scott at a bridal expo, and after viewing their work the quality of all other videographers paled in comparison. During our initial meeting, it became very clear the level of professionalism and dedication they have for their work. I'm a very detail oriented person, so it was a relief to have a vendor that was not only easy to get in touch with but also very responsive. We filmed a "Love Story" and played it at our reception - it was the first time anyone had seen the video, including Bill and I, and it was one of the highlights of the evening. I have no regrets about booking Chicago Cinematic Weddings and I highly recommended them to any bride looking for a phenomenal videographer!

Barb and Scott are absolutely awesome!! I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for any type of video footage... from just the ceremony to the entire day turned into a movie-style video, they have packages for everyone. I was a VERY picky bride, and they were willing to work with me on every detail to make it just how I wanted. They are very down-to-earth, friendly people and excellent videographers! We knew we had to book them when we met with them and they really tried to relate to us and understand what we wanted so they could customize the video for us. Throughout the planning the maintained contact with us to make sure we were on the same page and had all the details just right. On that day, I couldn't ask for anything more. They exceeded our expectations and were happy to film all our requests. Even after receiving the video they contacted us to make sure it was just what we wanted. If you are not sure about getting a videographer, do it!! and make sure you meet with Barb and Scott! We now have something we can look back at again and again to remember the most important day of our lives!

Chicago Cinematic Weddings was truly a pleasure to work with. Barb and Scott made an awesome team and they were very organized and efficient. Most importantly, they got along well with all my family and friends especially since a lot of them were video/camera shy. Barb went out of her way to assist the photographers in capturing shots of the little kids in my wedding party and I greatly appreciated that. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I can't wait to see the finished product!

Both Scott and Barb with Chicago Cinetmatic Weddings were outstanding. Not only did they bring ideas and suggestions to the table they listened closely to what we were looking for in our video and delivered it perfectly. Both were extremely professional yet fun and entertaining to work with. My husband and I are extremely impressed with our video, we cry each time watching it as it brings us back to that day everytime. Chicago Cinematic Weddings did a fabulous job on our daughter's wedding video. Scott and Barb were able to capture moments of that day that not everyone were able to see. Being able to look back at all of those special moments is priceless ! They are very professional and yet have a way of making everyone feel comfortable. Barb and Scott are a friend of the family so it was great they were available on our wedding day! They were both great to work with and everyone could not believe how awesome our same day edit was when they played it at our reception!

Barb & Scott did videography for our wedding in July 2013 & we couldn't be happier with everything they did for us! Not only were they professional and a total pleasure to work with, they brought personal touch to everything. They are much more than videographers. They go out of their way to make sure everything is PERFECT. They worked directly with other vendors (photographer/band) on the day of the wedding & helped coordinate the timing of everything. They were kind yet assertive in order to make sure they got everything they needed to make our wedding video something that we can look back on & enjoy for many years. Barb and Scott were awesome and easy to work with. They were responsive to emails and really helped out on the day of the wedding to keep things going according to plan. They did a SDE for our wedding which we absolutely loved and they were able to also provide live feed. Their assistants were also amazing and super creative and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them!

Scott and Barb were fantastic. The video is high quality. They beautifully captured so many different aspects of the wedding and reception. Or son in the military could not attend his sister's wedding. He now has a lasting memory of the special event. We cherish the memories recorded. Thank you.

This review is well overdue to this wonderful company! My original videographer cancelled on me with less than 5 months until my wedding. I was in a complete panic and worried sick. The videographer was extremely significant to me because they are going to capture all the memories & things I didn't see. I believe photos only capture an small glimpse of a moment, where as the videographer is going to have all that moment on film. Barb & Scott were extremely knowledgeable and wonderful to me and my now husband. They worked with us on all the details (budget to the music and the over all feel of the DVD). When looking back, in a way I'm grateful my other videographer backed out & was able to get Chicago Cinematic Weddings. I love the way they made my wedding DVD flow from all the important moments and not a 2.5 tape of a stationary camera. I love watching it!

Barb and Scott made our wedding dreams come true. We sat down and talked about what we wanted and they provided positive feedback right way and suggested a few things we didn't think of. They were very professional and easy to work with. They day of our wedding was a little hectic as every wedding can be,but Barb and Scott were there to help and reassured everything would be perfect. My wife calls them our Fairy God Mothers which is an understatement. Our video turned out amazing. We have watched our video more then a handful of times and it never gets old. The quality and creativity to capture certain moments were amazing and very appreciated. We couldn't have asked for anything more of them as they exceeded our expectations. Scott , Barb, and John were wonderful to work with. They were recommended to us by Michaelangelos Event Company in South Bend Indiana. We had so many compliments about the same day edit that was shown during our reception. This was a pleasant surprise to our guests. Scott and Barb were great to work with. From our first time meeting them in their home, to any follow up questions leading up to our wedding. The day of, they were sure to capture everything and even created us a quick, few minute video when they were running behind in getting us our whole video. We are very happy to have used them and have a great video in return! We would highly recommend anyone to use them!

Scott and Barb are great, and the product for the price can't be beat. We did a 2-3min trailer with our package, which I would definitely recommend (since most people wont want to watch your 2-3 hour wedding video). They were very professional on the day of (I barely knew they were there), and were really accomodating with editing style/music choices before the final product was produced.

they were amazing, so many personal touches and such detail of the wedding from start to finish. they even made a video trailer to the wedding, it was beautiful. so great to work with this couple, they were so sweet. they made the whole thing so much fun to do. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I would absolutely use them again for any video service i would need. special birthdays, communions, any special parties, they were fantastic. Scott and Barb were really great to work with. There was an issue with our DJ, so the speeches didn't come out very well during our reception. Thanks to Chicago Cinematic, they had multiple cameras, so there were able to pull footage from multiple cameras in order to make the sound come out clear. You would never even be able to tell that we were having sound issues on the day of our wedding from how the video came out. I asked Scott and Barb to put several key pieces into our wedding video, and they did a great job. They were the easiest out of all of the vendors to work with. This isn't just a boring wedding video. This is the is the most important day of our lives captured on video. They truly did an amazing job. Don't make a mistake and pass them up.

I had the privilege of working with Barb and Scott over the weekend and it was such a pleasure! So easy to work with and made the day and night so enjoyable. They truly put 110% into their work to make the bride and groom's day perfect!

The owners Barb & Scott were extremely professional and easy to work with! Chicago Cinematic Weddings filmed our wedding ceremony and reception and we could not have asked for a better DVD of our special day. Barb & Scott also put together a photo montage slide show that was played at our reception and an elegant edit of our wedding ceremony that was played at our wedding reception for our guests to see. This was especially nice for all of the guests that could not make the wedding ceremony. I really enjoyed working with Barb and Scott on my wedding day. They arrived on time and were very professional. They worked on their own to capture the perfect moments of the whole day. The best part is that we went about our day with little interruption from them!
We were sent the preview and I was AMAZED at how great it was and couldn't wait to see the movie they had created of our special day. It was prepared on schedule and I was so impressed with how great it was! I was at first skeptical of having a movie presentation instead of the traditional wedding video, but I never regretted my decision once I saw the video. I couldn't be happier. Of all of our vendor choices, this was definitely the best decision we made! First of all, the videographers (Barb and Scott) are professional and fun! You can't go wrong with them. As for our video, we are consistently told how professional and creative it is compared to other companies videos. And friends and family can't stop commenting on the "Same Day Edit". It was such a surprise for us to see that they were able to edit clips of our ceremony and of us getting ready for the entire wedding reception to view. Scott and Barb were such a pleasure to work with! At first I was hesitant to have a videographer, but Scott and Barb made everything so easy and fit into the evening seemlessly without any obstructions at all. Once we actually received the video we were even more pleased with the quality of their work and they caught so many amazing moments from the night that we would have otherwise missed. I had a great experience working with Barb and Scott for our wedding! From the first time I met with them, I could see their passion for what they do and their desire to make their clients happy. I'm guessing our wedding was not one of the easiest weddings they've filmed. Not only did the power go out during the ceremony, but there was a severe thunderstorm that day that made for undesirable filming conditions. But Barb and Scott never missed a beat, even standing out in the pouring rain in order to get the best shot. They were even kind enough to hold the umbrella over our photographers head so that she could get some shots in the rain! I felt as if they were a part of the family that day.
